Privacy policy – PromenadaApartamenty.pl
We respect your privacy. Below we explain what data we collect, for what purpose, how long we keep it and what rights you have.
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is the owner of the apartments presented on PromenadaApartamenty.pl. For any matters concerning personal data you can contact us by email: biuro@promenadaapartamenty.pl or by phone: (+48) 570 128 128.
2. Contact and availability enquiries
When you call, send an email or submit the form, we process the data you give us: your full name, phone number, email address, dates of stay, number of guests and the content of your message. We use it solely to reply to your enquiry and prepare an offer for your stay (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – steps prior to entering into a contract – and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interest in handling correspondence).
3. Booking and stay
When you book, we process the data needed to conclude and perform the rental agreement: contact details, dates of stay, number of guests, details from the identity document shown at check-in and payment details (deposit, remaining amount). The legal basis is the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for tax, accounting and local tourist tax purposes, a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell data or pass it on for marketing purposes. Access to it may only be given to those who help us run the rentals: the hosting company and email provider, the accounting office, the bank handling payments and – where required by law – the competent authorities (e.g. the town council regarding the local tourist tax).
5. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Just write to biuro@promenadaapartamenty.pl. If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority – in Poland the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl) – or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
Providing data is voluntary, but without a phone number or email address we cannot reply to your enquiry, and without the details needed for the agreement we cannot accept a booking. We do not make automated decisions or carry out profiling.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Our website does not use any analytics or advertising tools. We use:
- essential – storing your choice in the cookie window (in the browser’s storage, with no personal data). They are always active, because without them the site would ask for consent on every visit;
- live webcams – on the “Webcams” page we show images from webcamera.pl cameras so that you can see the current weather and the beach. The webcams load straight away with the page. Their provider receives your IP address and browser information, and may set its own cookies and display advertising. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing the area around the apartments (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The provider’s policy can be found on webcamera.pl.
- map – on the home page and the contact page we show a Google Maps map (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) so that you can find us easily. The map loads straight away with the page. Google receives your IP address and browser information, and may set its own cookies and transfer data to the USA (on the basis of standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing the location of the apartments (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Google’s policy: policies.google.com/privacy. If you do not want the map to load, you can block content from Google domains in your browser settings.
You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” button in the page footer. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
7. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the law or the way the website works changes. The current version is always available on this page.
